Alison is a Certified ARISE® Interventionist who works with families that struggle with drug and alcohol addiction and mental illness. After researching different intervention models, she found ARISE® Intervention and Comprehensive Care and realized how well it aligned with her own foundational beliefs about getting help and seeking recovery. She believes strongly in a no shame, no blame approach, and ARISE® is a loving and compassionate intervention model.

Alison has been working in the field of addiction treatment and recovery for the last 12+ years. She has worked in many treatment centers, in a number of different capacities.  Early on in her own recovery journey, Alison discovered her gift of connecting with others and helping them choose their own path of recovery. She realized how rewarding it was to change the narrative for those battling an addiction to understand their need for help and that hope was available to everyone. She has helped numerous people get into treatment centers and has helped many to find long-term recovery.

Alison is a member of The Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) and has been practicing the ARISE® model for 3+ years. In 2016, she co-founded Mosaics of Mercy that helps connect people to mental health and addiction resources.

Alison is a woman in long-term recovery from alcohol. She is married and they have two adult children who are currently in college. She and her husband currently reside in the Texas hill country. She has devoted her life to reducing the stigma around substance use disorder and mental illness and is committed to finding excellent resources for your loved one.
